honestly. the one week that I cannot afford to get sick in and boom, it hits me this morning. ew. I'm not impressed. even the fact that I'm missing school doesn't make it better. i had a lot planned for today and now i get to sit here surrounded by kleenex. but i'm not bitter - oh no. just slightly perturbed I guess. i can't even watch Full House because my mom has outlawed it. and i've seen all the episodes like three times each. but that's irrelevant.
anyways, i'm going to stop complaining now. how's everyone doing? how were your weekends? i had a great weekend. the friend business was boomin' - let me tell you. I even had some adventures - i'll probably post the two pictures that I did get because they're magnificent. but i got to hang out with loads of people and it was awesome. proably all that awesomeness is why i'm sick. payback. haha anyways, i'm going to rest up because i want to be at that carnival tomorrow. and by rest i mean turn on the telly. peace out, ya'll.

dilema of a small sort
guys, i have a dilema.
it's solve-able, but it's nevertheless a dilema.
i don't know what I'm going to be for Halloween.
I know, tragic, right? I've probably thought of a bout a hundred different ideas, but I
1)need money and
2)need time to go on an extensive search.
uuuhh!! i usually know in September what I'm going to be. I was going to wear Cinderella's dress from the Globe theatre production, but my friend decided that she was going to wear it. which is totally cool, but now i have to find something else and i'm stuck.
i asked my dad today what i should be and he said "what's wrong with the mask you have on?" jerk.
Value Village, anyone?

the never ending week - that sounded emo.
i was trying to find a picture to post, but i've got nothing. i haven't had any adventures lately. it's sad, really. i mean all i've been doing is school work and work work and household work and cleaning up after my dog . . . eeeew. i posted last tuesday? let me see, what have i been up to since then? well. let me tell you. wednesday was care groups . . . thursday i thought that i was going to be teaching a beginners class at work, but it got cancelled (sorry Katie!). on the same day we got about a bajillion boxes of new inventory in which had to be priced an on the shelves by Tuesday of this week. There was so much paper i thought that my fingers were going to fall off. but luckily, don't worry, they didn't. they're still here. so i priced paper on Thursday night. I came in right after school on Friday because Lana was leaving for Edmonton and put up two boxes of stuff. really cool stuf that i'm probably going to nab off the shelves tomorrow. but that's a side note. saturday was more pricing. if you want a label, come talk to me - i definitely can make up one of those babies for you in a VERY short amount of time. and my wonderful boyfriend helped me price paper all day. it was quite the day because 1) my stress levels were through the roof and b) Jordan was pricing patterned frilly paper. haha sunday, church, and i went to the Christian college and university tour /fair thing. and now, i'm thinking about a whole bunch of different places. some further that PRBI, some closer. we'll see, i guess. it's exciting to think about being a college student, when i hear Aimee and Alayna's adventures from Bible college, it makes me antsy to just get this high school thing done so i can go to college already! but there's a lot of work there too. ew. monday, my dog got THE surgery. ya, not good. all of her systems are weird now and i know you all want to know about this!! ;) last night, our sewer backed up . .. lovely. i couldn't even sleep downstairs, it was gross. and my sister's bed is so hard! i feel awesome today! :s anyways, care groups tongiht. that's excitng. and there you have it. my boring week because i have nothing better to post.
phew. glad i got that off my chest.

Holy Is the Lord

We stand and lift up our hands
For the joy of the Lord is our strength
We bow down and worship Him now
How great, how awesome is He
And together we sing
Everyone sing
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory
It's rising up all around
all day this song has been stuck in my head.
i was going through my pictures from this weekend at the lake and just realized how thankful i am for how holy God is. I mean, it's easy to say ya, he created all this. but to experience his holiness through his beautiful creation . . . it's awe-inspiring and it literally makes me want to sing out loud.
and i did.
